FAQ

Where are you located?

We are located at the southeast corner of Queen St. E. and Leuty (one block east of Lee, several blocks east of Woodbine).

How can I get to you with public transport?

We are easily accessible with the TTC via the Queen St. streetcar or via the #64 bus from the Main St. subway station.

Where can I park?

There is parking available on both sides of Queen St. (except 7 – 9 am on the north side and 4-6 pm on the south side) and on Leuty itself right beside the clinic. There is also a very convenient Green P which can be accessed from either Lee south of Queen or Leuty south of Queen. There is also free parking on the side streets in the neighbourhood.

Do you take direct payments from insurance?

We do take direct payments from insurance companies if your plan allows for it. If you are not covered 100%, we may know at the completion of your appointment what portion was not covered. Other times we may have to wait a few days for that information.

What type of dentistry do you provide?

We provide services in all facets of dentistry including cosmetic, surgical, root canals, children’s dentistry, implants, minor orthodontics, etc. While we make every effort to solve all your dental problems in office, if we feel your best interest would be served by referring you to the appropriate specialist, we would do so after discussing the pros and cons with you.

Is the office wheelchair accessible?

Yes. We have a removable ramp which can be placed over the two steps at the front entrance.

At what age should I bring my child in for the first visit?

We generally suggest the first visit to be around 2 ½ years of age. The first visit would consist of a ride in the dental chair and a quick look in the mouth. If there is nothing to be concerned about, we would suggest coming back in 6 months or so for the first visit with the hygienist for a quick polish to slowly introduce the child to dental care.

How do you determine your fees?

Every year, the Ontario Dental Association, sends out a suggested fee guide to all it’s members. We base our fees on this guide and never charge above it. Insurance companies also use this guide to determine the level of reimbursement it provides for those that have a plan.
