Major Key Alert! Your Smile.

November 15, 2016

Everybody likes a beautiful smile. We all wish we could smile more often. From a scientific point of view, those of us that smile more actually produce chemicals in our body that make us feel better. The act of smiling causes our body to produce more endorphins (lowers stress, blood pressure and pulse) and serotonin (anti-depressant and mood enhancer). In fact, many anti-depressant drugs work by causing an increase in serotonin.

Additionally, others view us differently if we smile. Scientific studies have shown we will be considered more attractive, reliable, trustworthy, confident and relaxed when we smile.

Those that are embarrassed by their smile deliberately stop themselves from smiling and lose all the benefits just listed. What’s holding you back from getting the smile you want and the quality of life that comes with it? Fear of pain (we can control that). Cost (there are so many options that there has to be one you can afford). Embarrassment (it’s never as bad as you think and, trust me, I’ve seen worse before).

Stop procrastinating and at least explore your options.
