Dentures Near You
Dentures are a removable appliance that replaces missing teeth. While they are not the same as natural teeth, they will improve your ability to eat and speak. Today, dentures are more comfortable and natural-looking than ever.
There are full and partial dentures. Our dentist will determine which type is ideal for you, depending on your unique case.
Complete Dentures
Complete dentures are ideal for replacing all of your teeth. If you have a few teeth remaining, they will need to be removed prior to receiving your dentures. Immediate dentures can be worn right after the extractions. While immediate dentures allow you to instantly replace your teeth, they will need to be relined a few months later. As your bone heals, it can cause your dentures to become loose.
Removable Partial Denture (RPD)
Partial dentures are made from either plastic or porcelain teeth attached to a plastic or metal framework to replace missing teeth. These dentures are easy to maintain and clean, and they are also more cost-effective compared to bridges and implants.
Relines
If your dentures feel loose, our dentist can refit them to ensure they fit comfortably in your mouth. Most additions or repairs can be completed in a single appointment. If you have an emergency or do not have an appointment, our team will schedule you in as soon as we can.
Denture Care
With time, your dentures will need to be remade, relined, or rebased due to wear and tear. Your mouth will also naturally change as you age. These changes can cause loose dentures, which can irritate your gums and make it difficult to chew. We recommend visiting your dentist at least once a year for a checkup.
